U&B was founded by Licensed Therapists and twin sisters Zakiyyah Abdul-Mateen, LCSW, and Khadijah Abdul-Mateen, LMSW. Their practice combines talk therapy, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Herbal remedy consultations to support emotional and physical well-being. Zakiyyah and Khadijah have over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Their primary focus is on addressing emotional dysregulation, anxiety, complex trauma, and generational wounds.
